A minor concern is durability. Others may benefit from the following: I finally learned an easier way to remove the individual plastic coverings, but initially scratched some using scissors. Once I found the little opening on the flat side, I wished I'd been given instructions to use it as a starting point.

blocks are quality dense foam. Not floppy at all. I ordered black. They are really black. Really perfect for the yoga studio.
